Your Dental Visit and COVID-19 Guidelines

We are now expanding services at Family Tree Dental! Under the guidelines provided by the BC College of Dental Surgeons and the Province of BC, we are able to welcome back patients to the practice.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many aspects in how we go about our daily lives in our community. Patients visiting us at Family Tree Dental will notice a few changes such as enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) our team now wears, new protocols in place such as temperature checks upon entry, and new physical additions such as air purifiers in our operatories. Though we've made a few changes for our mutual protection, you can still expect the same exceptional service from our dentists and staff!

In preparation for your visit, and in keeping with our vision for a place patients will feel comfortable and safe, we would ask patients to follow the guidelines below:

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment as we are required to perform a brief COVID-19 assessment
  • When arriving early for your appointment, and after checking in with reception, we would ask that you wait in your car until you receive a call that our team is ready.
  • Use provided hand sanitizer upon entry to the dental clinic
  • Please bring a mask to wear while inside the clinic.
  • We would ask that patients come alone to their appointment and ask friends/family to wait at home or outside the clinic. Parents/guardians however are asked to accompany children to their dental appointment.
  • Please maintain social distancing of 2 meters at all times whenever possible

Should you have any questions regarding how this pandemic affects your dental experience, please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to help you. We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation in navigating this COVID-19 pandemic, and we at Family Tree Dental look forward to seeing you soon!
